DSIR-recognised R&D centre
Computational Fluid Dynamics, rapid prototyping and physical testing — so the mesh is chosen on evidence before you commit to tooling and volume.
Flow Modelled First
CFD analysis of flow within the mesh structure.
Prototype Early
Rapid samples before tooling commitment.
Government Recognised
DSIR-recognised in-house R&D centre.
Joint Programmes
R&D collaboration with the Government of India.
Overview
Through its committed research and development work, BVK has been able to secure its technological edge. We use Computational Fluid Dynamics and rapid prototyping to analyse flow dynamics within the mesh structure — which means the trade-off between porosity, pressure drop and strength can be examined on screen and on a sample bench, rather than discovered after the first production batch.

These services adhere to norms established between BVK and the customer, so the result is evidence both sides accept.
Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics assessing how mesh structure affects flow dynamics and pressure behaviour.
Topography assessment of air permeability across the mesh surface.
Material and manufacturing simulation, including digital twin modelling.
Microstructure examination to verify material condition after treatment.
Mechanical stress testing against the duty the component will see.
Geometry, cost and manufacturing route refined together before scale-up.
Recognition
BVK's R&D efforts have received recognition from the Government of India through the DSIR programme, and BVK takes part in joint R&D programmes.

Specifications
| Method | Measures | Used to decide |

| Air permeability topography | Permeability variation across the mesh surface | Uniformity of the weave or knit |
| Grain structure examination | Microstructure condition after treatment | Annealing parameters and formability |
| Stress testing | Mechanical response against the service duty | Wire diameter and mesh density |
| Simulation and digital twin | Material and manufacturing behaviour before tooling | Manufacturing route and cost |
| Rapid prototyping | Dimensional and functional performance of a real sample | Final geometry before freeze |
| Production Part Approval | Process capability, not just part performance | Release to series production |
Development path
The point of this sequence is to move the expensive discoveries to the front, where they are still cheap.
Step 01
Operating envelope, medium, chemistry and constraints.
Step 02
CFD and simulation across candidate structures.
Step 03
Rapid samples of the shortlisted geometries.
Step 04
Physical testing against agreed norms, then refine.
Step 05
Control plan, PPA and production specification frozen.
Why develop with BVK
Filtration and electrochemical mesh are rarely plug-and-play; they require close cooperation between supplier and customer. BVK is resourced for that cooperation rather than for catalogue fulfilment.
In-house R&D recognised by the Government of India through DSIR.
CFD and digital twin modelling applied before any tooling is cut.
Collaboration with the Government of India.
The same organisation that prototypes it also produces it at scale.
Sustainability
Woven and knitted mesh support electrolysers and fuel cells across the green hydrogen value chain. BVK also powers 50%+ of its energy needs through renewables, with a goal of becoming 100% self-reliant.

Let's build a cleaner tomorrow
Bring it early. The cheapest time to find out that a structure will not work is before the tooling exists — and that is exactly what CFD and prototyping are for.
Certifications
The same management systems and compliance badges audited across every order: quality, environment, safety, energy and material conformity.
